Switzerland's largest online retailer began accepting cryptocurrencies
The company Digitec Galaxus announced the beginning of the reception of cryptocurrency. This is the largest Swiss online retailer. The company's trading portal now accepts Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, XRP, Binance Coin, Litecoin, Tron, NEO and OmiseGO to pay for purchases in excess of $ 200.

The new payment method was implemented in conjunction with the Swiss processing service Datatrans and the Danish crypto startup Coinify. The client is given 15 minutes to pay for the purchase - at this time the exchange rate of the cryptocurrency in relation to Fiat does not change. Commission for using the service is 1.5%.

At the same time, Digitec Galaxus added a section of hardware crypto wallets to its website and prepared a guide on their use.

Other online retailers are also interested in the possibility of accepting cryptocurrency payments. For example, the company Overstock began working with Bitcoin back in 2014. In addition, Rakuten, the largest e-commerce company in Japan, may issue its own cryptocurrency.
